One of the top things people love about Disney World is… the food! From Dole Whip to Mickey Waffles, Disney has you covered on the most delicious and unique foods all around their parks. However, for us eating well is always a priority and we like to make sure we are not just eating sweets. Even if you order a breakfast in Disney it could be total carb-loading. Between the bacon, pancakes, waffles, even the oatmeal that is loaded with sugar, the nutritional facts can be a disaster! We attempted to continue our healthy way of eating in Disney World, without having to be eating our own protein bars/food. We wanted to make it a point to hit the parks super early, so we ended up ordering room service at the Polynesian. The room service is terrific and has a great menu with multiple choices, they open at 0600 AM.

R chose plain oatmeal and asked for a side of blueberries, strawberries and a banana. To drink a breakfast tea by Twinnings. It was really helpful to be able to eat like this– especially with marathon training it is important to keep a well rounded & consistent diet. The staff who delivered our meal were prompt, professional and polite. We ordered at 0600 and it was delivered by 0630. We highly recommend the room service at the Polynesian!
